Recently, Ruka has been taking a lot of photos and videos for us.
Natural smiles from the members.
Serious faces during practice.
Little moments from everyday conversations.
Every single one of them is wonderful, and I always want to use them for our blog or social media.
...However.
There is one small problem.
The material folder is growing at an incredible speed.
Today, I was sitting in front of my computer, organizing the files.
When I opened the folder, countless photos and videos appeared on the screen.
"Aine β Smiles"
"Rei β DJ Lesson"
"Hinata β Funny Moments"
"Shizuku β Gentle Expressions"
"Ruka β Best Shot Candidates"
And there were more.
So many more.
π€ Mashiro: "...There are so many."
I accidentally said it out loud.
Thenβ
π©΅ Ruka: "What is?"
Ruka peeked over my shoulder.
π€ Mashiro: "The materials. There are so many of them."
π©΅ Ruka: "That's a good thing, right?"
π€ Mashiro: "It is a good thing, but...!"
And yes, she was right.
Having so many good photos is truly helpful.
They are precious records of MixPalette's activities.
But...
Being grateful for something and being overwhelmed by organizing it can exist at the same time.
Then Aine came over too.
π©· Aine: "What are you doing?"
π€ Mashiro: "I'm organizing the photos Ruka took for us."
π©· Aine: "Wow, I want to see!"
Aine looked at the screen with sparkling eyes.
And the next momentβ
π©· Aine: "Eh? Isn't this one really good!?"
She pointed at a photo of herself smiling in the sunlight.
It really was a beautiful shot.
π€ Mashiro: "Yes, this one is a strong candidate."
π©΅ Ruka: "That's one of my favorites too."
π©· Aine: "Yayβͺ"
After that, I opened another folder.
This time, Hinata's photos appeared on the screen.
A bright smile.
A full-energy pose.
A slightly blurry photo because she moved too fast.
And then β one photo where she had made a very strange face.
𧑠Hinata: "Eh!? What is this!?"
Before I knew it, Hinata had appeared behind us.
𧑠Hinata: "Delete this one!"
π©΅ Ruka: "Nope. It's too funny."
𧑠Hinata: "It doesn't need to be funny!"
π€ Mashiro: "...I'll put this one on hold for now."
𧑠Hinata: "On hold!?"
As I continued organizing, Rei's DJ lesson video came up next.
Rei teaching Hinata with a serious expression.
Rei looking a little troubled, but still watching over her properly.
π©΅ Ruka: "Rei really looked like a teacher."
π Rei: "...Don't watch that without asking."
Somehow, Rei had joined us too.
π€ Mashiro: "But it was a really good video."
π Rei: "Don't post it anywhere."
π©΅ Ruka: "I haven't posted it yet."
π Rei: "Yet?"
π€ Mashiro: "That way of saying it is a little scary..."
The last folder I opened was Shizuku's.
Inside were many photos of Shizuku smiling gently in soft light.
Every photo looked so warm that even the air around her seemed peaceful.
π Shizuku: "Oh my... you took such lovely photos of meβͺ"
π©΅ Ruka: "Shizuku looks the most beautiful when she's being natural."
π Shizuku: "Hehe, thank you very muchβͺ"
π©· Aine: "You really look like a princess..."
𧑠Hinata: "So pretty!"
π Rei: "Like a magazine cover."
Shizuku smiled a little shyly.
At first, I was supposed to be organizing files.
But before I knew it, everyone had gathered around the screen, and it had turned into a small screening party.
Still, I thought that was nice too.
Moments when everyone laughed.
Moments when everyone worked hard.
Moments when someone made a small mistake.
All of them together make up a very MixPalette-like day.
π€ Mashiro: "...I really can't delete them after all."
π©΅ Ruka: "See?"
𧑠Hinata: "Eh!? Please delete mine!"
π©· Aine: "I kind of want to keep themβͺ"
π Shizuku: "They are all precious, aren't they?"
π Rei: "At least separate the weird ones."
π€ Mashiro: "All right. I'll separate them into an 'Important Materials' folder and a 'Little Funny Materials' folder."
𧑠Hinata: "Don't separate them!"
Everyone's voices overlapped, and the room became lively again.
I'm sure the folders will keep growing from now on.
But that probably means MixPalette's time is steadily piling up.
Organizing everything is difficult.
But maybe...
it's the kind of difficulty that makes me a little happy.
π€ Mashiro: "Now then... next, I should make the folder names easier to understand."
π©΅ Ruka: "How about 'Hinata β Funny Faces Best'?"
𧑠Hinata: "Nooo!"
I have a feeling another new material will be added today too.
