Today, I brought a slightly rare tea to the studio.
It came in a pretty purple tin, with little golden letters on the label.
I thought everyone might enjoy it during break time.
π Shizuku: "Today, I brought a slightly special teaγ"
𧑠Hinata: "Yay! Snacks!?"
π Shizuku: "It's teaγ"
𧑠Hinata: "Tea is good too!"
Hinata smiled brightly, and everyone gathered around the table.
The tea I brought today has a very soft aroma.
It feels gentle, like moonlight on a quiet terrace.
The name is also very lovely.
A little long, but very lovely.
π Shizuku: "It's called Royal Floral Moonlight Blendγ"
𧑠Hinata: "Long!"
π©· Aine: "It sounds like a princess's teaβͺ"
π Rei: "That's longer than some song titles."
π©΅ Ruka: "It probably wouldn't fit in a tag."
π Shizuku: "Is that soγ?"
I thought it was a beautiful name. But everyone seemed a little surprised.
I poured the tea carefully into the cups.
A soft, sweet aroma slowly filled the room.
π Shizuku: "The fragrance is very gentle, and it helps you relaxγ"
π©· Aine: "It really smells nice."
π Rei: "...Not bad."
π©΅ Ruka: "The steam looks pretty. This would make a good photo."
𧑠Hinata: "Royal... Floral... Moon..."
Hinata was trying very hard to remember the name.
Her eyebrows were pulled together in serious concentration.
𧑠Hinata: "Royal... Flower... Moon..."
π Shizuku: "You're very closeγ"
𧑠Hinata: "...Delicious tea!"
For a moment, everyone went quiet.
Then I smiled.
π Shizuku: "Yes, that is perfectly fineγβͺ"
We all sat together and drank the tea.
Aine looked happy as she held her cup with both hands.
Rei quietly enjoyed the aroma.
Ruka took a photo of the cup, the steam, and the small plate of sweets.
Hinata finished hers very quickly.
𧑠Hinata: "Refill!"
π Shizuku: "Of courseγ"
π©· Aine: "Hinata, you really liked it."
𧑠Hinata: "Because it's delicious!"
π Rei: "So you still don't remember the name."
𧑠Hinata: "I remember the important part!"
π©΅ Ruka: "What's the important part?"
𧑠Hinata: "That it's delicious tea!"
π Shizuku: "Hehe. That may be the most important partγ"
After a while, the studio felt a little quieter than usual.
Not in a lonely way.
More like everyone had taken one soft breath together.
The tea was warm.
The sweets were sweet.
And everyone's voices sounded a little gentler.
π©· Aine: "This kind of break time is nice."
π Rei: "The aroma isn't bad."
π©΅ Ruka: "That means Rei likes it."
π Rei: "I didn't say that."
𧑠Hinata: "But you drank all of it!"
π Rei: "...Because it was there."
π Shizuku: "I'm glad you enjoyed itγ"
In the end, no one remembered the full name of the tea.
Aine called it 'the princess tea.'
Ruka called it 'the photogenic tea.'
Rei called it 'the long-name tea.'
Hinata called it 'the delicious tea.'
And I thought all of those names were lovely too.
Because even if the name is a little long... if everyone smiles while drinking it, that is more than enough.
π Shizuku: "I'll bring another tea next timeγ"
𧑠Hinata: "Will the next one have a shorter name?"
π Shizuku: "Hmm... I'm not sureγ"
π©΅ Ruka: "That means it'll probably be long again."
π©· Aine: "I'm looking forward to itβͺ"
π Rei: "As long as it tastes good."
𧑠Hinata: "Then next time, I'll remember the name!"
π Shizuku: "Hehe. I'll look forward to thatγ"
The next tea time may have another slightly long name.
But if it tastes good, I'm sure everything will be fine.
