Kimiiro Steady Days

I wake up before my alarm even rings, and without meaning to, I open your profile icon. That round little face that still hasn't shown "read," I line up silly stickers and wait.

Kimiiro steady days, this feeling slowly soaks into my everyday. A canvas that keeps spreading — in the corner of my notebook, I trace your name. My chest goes soft and tight all at once, and the world turns just a little sweeter.

Going down the hill, our steps fell into the same rhythm, even the sound of our shoes matched, and we laughed (hehe). "It's just a coincidence," you say, but for a coincidence, it's a little too perfect.

Kimiiro steady days, on the rainy walk home, just one umbrella between us. Our shoulders brush together, and I can't quite manage to act like it's nothing. My cheeks go soft and pink all at once, another secret added, this afternoon after school.
